fan clutch problem?

can a bad fan clutch cause a transmission to get up to 188-198 degrees but not cause the engine to overheat. how can i tell if the fan clutch is still good. please reply

didnt you read my response in the other thread? Your trans is fine, that temp is not something to be conerned about, and your fan clutch is not broken.
