Fan options???

Finally got the build running and partially driveable but I'm in a pickle on getting a fan or fans. Due to lack of room under the hood with the cummins in the Chevy I'm looking into fans. From what I read the factory mechanical fan will move 8500 cfm. I'm really interested in dual 15s but only moves 5500. Will this be sufficent enough for towing 10k+ in dead summer in southeast tx? Or will I be wasting time and bowling water? Any suggestions?
 
Look at OEM Ford Taurus fans. They're pretty slim and move 4500CFM each. A pair of those will be as cheap as anything else and move a sh!tload of air.
 
I've got one Taurus fan but I think by the time I get done chopping the shroud up to fit there won't be much left and the space I've got won't allow two
 
i used a first gen dodge fan drive and serp belt. it moves the fan back 1.5 inches and up a little, the chevy shroud fits with some trimming..,
 
What years and engine size taurus fans are you guys using? Looking to switch over.
