We made our second pull last night in Hazelhurst Ga. It was a true test and tune for the up coming pull at TS. The truck did a very good with the weight we pulled, it did blow a turbo boot near the end of the pull but still pulled the heavy sudden impact sled 294 feet. If the boot would not have blown it would have been very impressive to see where it would have stop. Sled pulling is an awesome sport very proud to be bringing diesel truck sled pulling to south Ga. Thanks again to the hours of hard work and help my crew and friends put in. Video to come later today.

Yeah it was heavier than the sled in Tifton. They wouldn't let him pull with the amateurs after they saw it pull last weekend. Were not sure how much weight was on it but we gonna try to find out exactly what they had on it from the guy with the sled.

Can you hang weight in the Ametuer Class with Southern Pullers?

Yeah, We didn't run any weight last week at the first pull but there was a ford there with weights and we had already built the weight bracket so we put it and about 550 pounds on. However, when we got to Hazlehurst they wouldnt let me pull with the amateurs because that would be unfair to the other guys so I pulled exhibition by myself. There isn't a diesel class yet with the Southern Pullers Association but they are really interested in trying to get one started. Just need more involvement and more trucks to show up. There are four pulls this fall with SPA with the first one on September 11 and 12th in Baxley, GA and the second in Tifton, GA on September 25 and 26th.

Great looking pull.

Gotta love it when the announcer gets fired up like that.

You still running the 3.0 charger or were you running the 2.6.

It was actually a 3.0 charger still we are going to bushing it to a 2.8 charger for the TS pull. The bushing should be ready now at the machine shop. We decided not to go buy a charger for one pull because we can run anything down here with no class yet. The crowd really enjoyed it and they do have a good announcer. They love diesels and the truck had more smoke velocity than some of the super stock farm tractors.

Looks like a you had a pretty good run farmsmoker. What tires are you runnin on it?

On that pull it had Nitto Mud Grapplers but everyone says we need less bite and a little smaller tire. Looking for some all terrains or some interco trxus

The ones that were on it when you got it? Ive never pulled down your way before but a lot of regular pullers around here have BFG all terrians or Pro Comp all terrians. I had a set or Wranglers on my old truck that had about a 1/3 tread left on them. We do have a lot of clay around here to so that has a lot to do with it.

Great pull babe! TS is going to be so much fun! I can't wait! Even though we will both miss the rest of our crew at home. :woohoo:

I got some all terrains coming for ts that should be better and a little smaller than the 35 mud grapplers.
