Fass 150/150 question

Is there a problem with the pump if it only runs for about 1 sec when you turn the key on. It use to cycle for probably 15 to 20 sec when I first put it on. Has anybody else ever had this problem? When the truck is running I have 17-18lbs of pressure going to the VP

Thats normal! mine does the same thing a pushes right at 15 psi at the vp, and roughly 17 at the fass pump!

Mine just runs for approx 2 seconds. So what you are describing sounds normal. Why it would have done differently before is kinda weird.

i dunno, a couple of people i know theres runs like i described and mine ran differently, just curious whats normal.

Sounds like you recently up-dated your ECM software.

Did you go to the dealer, or borrow a Smarty?

The old software had the pump run for 10-15 seconds when you first turned on the key. The new software only does a quick 1-2 second prime.

Perfectly normal. I wouldn't worry about it a bit!

Nevermind, I should have read your sig line before I commented.

Did you play with the smarty after installing the FASS? That would be my guess. Now that you have the new software, it will always do that. One of the benefits to Smarty is that you get all of the dealer updates, too.

now that you mention it, it did start doing it after i installed the smarty. Makes sense now
