I'm trying to decide on which fuel pump to run. Just want to hear what some people think about them. I know the raptor doesnt have bypass filters like a FASS or Airdog but the price resembles it as well. So lets hear some thoughts on the subject guys! :pop:

Just a shot in the dark but I am assuming this is for a 12 valve? Figured I would clear that up for others. I kind of have a one sided opinion so I will let the other users reply.

If I were buying, it'd be Airdog. But I may be getting a FASS for free, so I'll run it till it fails and probably face the music and buy.

Agreed.. I run a raptor, that i haven't had any issues with (knock on wood).... works just fine and easy to hook up and install, but they all are, but the next lift pump i buy will be an Air Dog tho...

installed alot of raptors, the mounting is 10X gooder than fass (installed many fass's also)

the fass is a little noisier even though bolth are mounted solid to the frame/bed rail

the quick connect at the pump is nice but some JIC fittings will be just as nice

I think the mounts from all of them are terrible... I built my own for both styles I've installed on friends trucks.

I have an airdog 150 from 3 years ago and it still going strong on my truck. Because of that, if I ever get serious about my stroker Ill be going with Airdog.

Yes its for a 12 valve of course (signature pointed that out pretty easy i thought lol)

I"ve made up my mind and going with an Airdog 150. The Raptor is appealing but I want to bypass the stock filter and to lower restrictions on fueling and it will provide better filtering since I run close to if not %100 biodiesel 9 months of the year.

Lots of vendors on here that sell the product that would be glad to help you out I'm sure.
