Hello,
i am looking for a new fuel pump from my stock one, which is better? The Fass or The Air dog? The Fass is more expensive is it worth it? or should i just go with the cheaper one?

Airdog is quieter in my opinion if that matters to you. The FASS has a MUCH better mounting bracket. Its alot beefier. As far as the mechanical aspects of each........well they are practically the same.

i love my airdog, cause its quiet and it was cheaper than the fass system they both do the exact same thing

I have a fass, and have not had any problems with it! but both are good!

I love my airdog too, I just wish the bracket wasn't so flimsy looking. Great pump though, Holds a steady 15, no dropping / rising

If price is an issue look into the Raptor 100 or 150. Great systems just without the filters

Just put a Airdog 100 on my brothers 04 easy to install and super quiet. His also holds very steady fuel pressure.

Heres some comparison pics you can check out for size matters. Ill leave the "whos better" and "who to buy" up to the customers.

I have just the FASS pump. It works great, but as you can see in the pics it hangs kinda low...no problems yet though.

The FASS is made from T-6061 billet aluminum with serviceable motors and pumps.

The FASS is larger not only for the fuel heater ports and larger filters; it is larger because they have a smoother path to the engine once the air is removed from the fuel. It travels up the draw tube through the fuel manifold block, which is a pure mandrel bend on the FASS 150's. When the fuel travels up the draw tube of the Airdog it T-Bones into their base. This situation is called an Eddy Current and can produce air again.

my rommate has a airdog and i have a fass the fass is better in my opinion better bracket and fass has a lot better customer service in my opinion from what we have dealt with

Very interesting. Thats a new one to me luke. Never heard anyone explain the 2 with such expertise!! Revolution??? So your saying Fass over AirDog cause of the customer service being better. Never heard that before either but. How can you say that if you have never dealt with AirDogs customer service since you dont own an AirDog?? Just curious. Interesting responses though.

i do like my airdog its quieter than the fass and more compact on my truck i had to mount below the drivers door and the filters were like 3-4 inches below he frame not a good thing for me so i relocated it between the box mounting brackets and just welded the mount to the frame. i wish i could have just use the bracket there but the frame was to tall by about an inch for the bottom bolt to go under it so i had to weld it in place but turned out good nice and up out of the way

I like both the Airdog and Fass systems. I think they are both great systems. Each has these strengths and weaknesses. Funny thing is I have dealt with your customer service since I sale them and its top notch. Was my statement above incorrect?

They are both good systems. I had a fass & switched to Airdog after the fass pump got so loud, I couldn't stand it any more. I can't hear the Airdog run.
