I have a 01 24v vp-44 with a 150g fass system. I'm going to p pump the truck and wanted to know what you p pump 24v guys have been doing with your LP. Can you switch a spring, turn a screw, etc. to get the LP preasure up? Or maybe just leave it alone? I was looking @ not buying a completly new unit for a 12v truck. Thanks

Depends onnwhat pressures you can get the system up to. If you have the newer pump for the VP's like mine then it will not be enough. If so, not to worry. Give Eric at Vulcan performance a call and he can sell you just the pump so you can have the volume and pressure you need for less than a HPFP!

The 150gph FASS should be plenty for your p-pumped 24v. Just call up Dan at FASS and tell him your goals and he'll get that pump set up perfect for ya.

you need upwards of 30 psi for a p pump. i cant remember the exact #. my 24v fass would only get 22 psi i just ordered the replacement pump for the 12v 150 gph fass and chnged it.

You will need to upgrade your pump to the EM-1002 Motor to get the pressure you are looking for.

The 150 GPH pump can not push 45 PSI without issue to the motor.

thanks guys, I'll get it done soon enough $$$$.

Does anyone have some pics of a modded gear housing for the 24v p pump
being an 01, people are saying the cam sensor is a must

You will be better off getting one for a 12 valve that is made to fit a p-pump. Scheid and haisly have a cam gear sensor adapter.
