fastest vp44 list

Why split it up? I'd just put any setup info out to the side. The thread says fastest VP44 list....

I agree....If you were to split it up, you'd also have to separate twins from the singles and stock VPs from aftermarket highflow VPs too, right?

Not fast but I ran a 12.71 a while back on mach 5's and little BD twins but lost an IC boot right after half track. How much weight do you fast guys cut? I carry everything from the spare tire to 2 baby seats with me down the track.

My times were done on fuel only:hehe: or should I say that was all I was burning when I hit the Nitrous:hehe:

5800 lbs but we're not that fast and can lose another 150 if we really want to.

no chips? no lays or doritos? 127mph sounds a little high but if he says he did ill post it i trust him. pete give me a week and ill let you no how much weight im shavin im shooting for 300 pounds. anyone have ideas to where else i can find useless weight??

Not arguing the 11.83, just the mph. Your 11.00 got you to 122, so 127 should be a high ten or so, right?:poke:

Ian havent talked to Mike for a week or so what ever happen with Ty i do believe his name is truck? he went like an 11.40 first time out racing any news?

MPH is not always an idication of et. You can have a slow 60ft time but still a big mph. The drag car I tune is a 56 Beetle. Runs 9.50s at 150 mph usually. Last week we spun the tires really hard and ran a 10:16@144mph. That mph should be a very low 9 second pass.

:Cheer: Back to the truck I believe the 60fts at the time were in the high 1.70s to mid 1.80s which would lead to a slower et, but with a fair amount of power it was able to make it up on the big end which led to the mph.

Very true, but that bad of traction would mean spinning to what, half track? And still coming out to 127 on the big end. Thats some serious top end acceleration ya got there:Cheer: Care to elaborate on the setup please?

Major Defueling??? Wasn't that run before the BD RAD was out or anything else to get rid of the tq management the 02's have?

I don't know anything about the run, but if the power was there but the truck defueled bad enough on launch i could see it being possible. I've seen a few 02 VP trucks without something to eliminate defueling launch, fall on their face, then pick back up just to fall on their face again.
