I'm thinking of selling my truck in the next couple months. I want to see what you guys think is a reasonable price for what I have. All opinions welcome.
2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Single cab
4x4, 3.55's, NV5600
130,000 Miles
Pyro,boost,fuel psi in tripple pillar mount
Within the last oil change:
AirDog 150 with draw straw1
SOVP
DDP 200's
Hamilton Big Stick
5" tbe, 6" tip
Two batteries
Truck is an ST model with manual locks and windows, vinyl floor, a/c. Has tonneau cover, locking tailgate, roll on bed liner. The underbody is mint with no rust at all. The body is in good shape with a couple dings and light scrapes. One spot of rust through on the drivers side rocker, and rust just starting on drivers side fender. All maintenance kept up. I've always run power service additive at every fill up, and oil additive for the camshaft at the last oil change.
The problem is the transmission will need replaced/repaired asap. 1st and reverse pop out unless you keep your hand on the shifter (detents?). No 4th gear. 2nd and 6th synchros are going bad. and you have to drop it into 2nd at the right rpm/roadspeed otherwise it keeps spinning like you didn't depress the clutch ( bound up pilot bearing? or lame slave cylinder?) The truck is still very driveable as I do it every day. Can't tow anything without 4th though.
$9500? probly not.
