Hi,

Up for possible sale is a cummins 12v torque plate. It was made out of 3" steel and works really well it has only been used twice. I would like to see if there is any interest in this so I don't have to store it. I am taking any offers.

more pics in my sig.

Ok, the make offer thing is not working out so well,

I would like to work out a deal if it is sold so I can use it in the future if I need to but I most likely I will not need it.

The plate was brand new in the picture, I believe there is a little surface rust on in now so it may not be quite as pretty, but I am sure it can be cleaned up.

A BHJ plate is 1200.00 new for a racer pricing.

I am asking $700.00 OBO.

I really would prefer this to be picked up, as I have never shipped anything like this, and I really don't want the hassle, but I will ship it if needed.

Thanks for all the interest.

He is located in North Branch Mi, But the plate can be in Kalamazoo Mi, or Mishawaka IN for pick up

This is a tool that simulates head clamp load on the block during machining.

My 12v block and Goalie990's 12v block were both hot honed with this deck plate. The bores were measured with a dial bore gauge at rest and with the plate torqued to the block. The bores in the block pulled and between .003 and .005 out of round with the plate on. Now Goalie and my cylinders will be round with our heads torqued down. It is my opinion that t is an absolute must for any high HP engine, as as boring and honing round cylinders with out it will make oval shaped cylinders when the head is clamped back on, poor ring seal and excessive blow by may occur.
