FICM?

I Have A 05 6.0 That Won't Start. Scan Results Said The Ficm Was Bad. I Have A Good Ficm Out Of A 03 6.0 Will It Work On The 05 W/out Any Problems? I Just Need To Get The Truck To Start And Verify It Runs Ok W/ A Good Ficm.

Usually if you have a ficm code its bad. you might check on the scanner if you can go to live data and see if ficm is sync. It should say no or yes. If i remember correct. If its no it def. is bad. And i am pritty sure the 03 will not work on the 05. But thats just a guess.

im running an 05 ficm on my 03 right now with no problems . my 03 is on its way to innovative to get tuned.

But doesnt it have to be mached to your ecu?

You get a code for a file system problem between the 2. Some ficms will not crank. Deppends alot on the pcm software.
