Got a buddy with a 02 3500 4x4... truck has some 100hp injectors from Smokem, an Airsog, and an edge comp. Last week, the truck started acting like a pig down low, so he replaced the VP and the truck was still acting stupid. He replaced the MAP sensor and all was good again. this morning he calls me and says the truck is a limp dick up till it sees 25lbs of boost then takes off like a raped ape, like before..... I don't see how you could have a truck that eats MAP sensors... it is not like they are all that complicated. He has a new TPS that he is gonna try today, and he is going to put an old VA box of mine on to see if that helps... I'm thinking the Comp is probably taking a dump...

thoughts?

Got to be the Airsog......cheap knock off?......:shake:

Pull the Comp and reconnect factory harness....see what it does?!

cut IC boot?........slow to build boost then takes off?????

is it fueling down low? or not?

normally when comps take a **** they just act like an ez and all the power levels are the same..... I did get a glitch now and then though, just unplug the box and plug it back in

I'm also thinking TPS, but I know way too many people that have had their edge products sent back several times to rule it out.

Could be all of the above.I am thinking a slug of crap in the fuel filter/lines/tank screen.I would check fuel pressure at the vp.My bad wire tap fluttered,my tps went bad with dead pedal. The troubles i've had and the symptoms.

My edge does that up until about 15lbs when its cold then when its warmed up its fine. almost like a protection mode, its possibly an edge malfunction.

Edge has a protection you can turn on for cold weather. My juice with attitude had it anyway.

could be a computer issue. how long the edge been on and did it have a superchip in it before or similar?
