Well, I hooked for the first time last weekend. I had a blast. Took it as more of a learning experiance than anything. Now I def have to get some different tires. The straight street treads just are not going to cut it :bang All in all, I think I did pretty good for a first time with just a few mods and none for pulling. Check it out.

Oh, and the track was very hard, and it was just a short track and no one even had a full pull other than Junior Miller. The sled set up was kinda strange from what I have seen other places. What do yall think. Look at the length of the chain :umno:

see my sig pic...that was a 15' chain we used that day and i pulled a massive 180' HAHA
 
I guess it really hurts you over all distance pretty bad. I need to find a different sled to compare it too I guess.
 
That's a trick some sled like to do.. usually when they don't have enough sled, or don't want to add more weight.. the high hook point on the sled.. long chain = No traction..
