I have the chance to buy a 6" Skyjacker lift from a `98 1500 4x4 for $500. Does anybody know what will/wont fit up on my `95 2500 4x4? Obviously the springs wont let it sit at the full height. Any other differences?
Front spring rate will be less on the 1500 gasser, so the front end will sag with the weight of the diesel. Doesn't seem to me to be worth the time or $500 they are asking for it.
My brand new 4.5" lift from skyjacker was only $800ish back in 04. And a 4.5" lift on these trucks is plenty big. People ask me constantly if I've got a 6-8" lift on mine. Hell I had one guy argue with me that it wasn't a 4.5" lift.
