FLD 112 3176 Cat motor, Super 10 Speed

What is a mid 90's FLD 112 with the 3176 Cat in it worth?
Has around 600K on it. What things to look for? Junk or a good one?

Can you get any maintenance history on it? I'm pretty sure those 3176's have a mid plate under the head and they are always leaking and causing high dollar repairs.

Too be honest I can't remember if there was an updated part for it, but I will try to get you more info on it.

I'm definately not a fan of the 3176 with that big aluminum spacer under the head.

Run from a 3176! C10 are much better.

Fwiw these lil cats usually get real good fuel mileage! In my opinion the truck is worth somewhere between 4-6 grand unless its in like new condition!

Ya theres better options out there. I got my '98 Freightliner for 4k canadian. with a C12 and 13speed. its only got 600k miles on it too. its a cabover, but totally irrelevant. \you can do better than a 3176 in a daycab.
