I have a Floor it Diesel ported and polished 04.5 head that John had done for a guy about a year and a half ago. John also O-ringed and rebuilt it while it was off the head is in good shape I brought it to put on my truck and just never got around to it. I can text anybody pics of it but can't post any on the computer right now. 1900 dollars.
 
would you know if it would work on an 03? or if i would have to change injectors and a bunch of other stuff? have the springs and valveseats been changed at all? thanks for your time.
 
The spring will be stock ones and the valveseats were redone also the head was ported as much as John could without cutting the intake off. If you have any questions just ask guys.
 
price is a little high IMO. Just saw a CR head a while back that was p&p, o-ringed and heavy duty valve springs for 1100.
 
Call John up and ask him what he would charge you to deck, oring, and p/p your head then you going to have to wait on it, then if you don't want to wait you are going to have to buy another head. If you think the price is too high then don't post in here guys.
 
$1900 is alot of money no doubt! But, most porting now is in the neighborhood of $1500 not counting any machine work whats O-ring jobs run at least $300 right?
New to the CR side but whats a stock head worth?
Would this work on 04.5 up to the 07.5's?
Any idea on the miles?

This isnt a bad price at all guys. There isnt very many miles on it all, I forget what Chris told me, but it wasnt much. As posted above, there is at least 1800 worth of work done on it. and then what a head that is good is worth, and it comes with the valves too.. not bad price IMHO

Thanks kevin and The kid, the head is worth it guys I might come off of it a little bit. The reason I even brought it back up is for a guy that race's around here wanted to make sure thats what I priced the head for months ago on here, thats the only reason it came back up in here so he could see it.
