:bang see alot of people talkin about a Fluidampr.... i've kinda looked at them and can't really get a grip on exactly what they do for you... and if its something to look into getting?

it replaces the factory harmonic balancer on the front of the crank with alot better one, it smoothes out the vibrations and allows the engine to run smoother

is it something i should be lookin into b4 i start moding my truck again...

it will run better but its not necessary, if your spinning to 4K i would reccomend you getting it

Its a harmonic balancer that replaces your factory one and helps smooth out the motor at all rpms but it really shines in the higher rpm band.It has also been known to help smooth out the engagement of the big double disc clutches.I have had one on mine now since they first come out and it was worth every penny I spent to buy it......Andy

I was surprised how much smoother my engine sounded after installing my Fluidamper 2 years ago. It really is a great investment, especially if you turn high revs. Is it needed? Not necessarily, but a good investment to prolong the life of your engine.

^^ X2, when my factory one decided to give up the ghost I replaced it with one, I couldn't believe how much it helped to smooth out and quiet the engine down.

If you are looking to buy one, hit up PSDplayer (GOGO Diesel), he has the same or better prices than Summit last I checked, and he supports us here at CompD :rockwoot:
