From what I've been told I may have just killed my flywheel. Just wondering for anybody that has broken a flywheel, how did you do it? What is a good alternative to the stock one, I've been looking but can't seem to find anything. This is an auto.

autos dont have flywheels.

everyone who sells built up trans can get you a billet flex plate, theyre about $400

That's what I thought but the guy told me it was the flywheel...???

flex plate...flywheel....people have been using both words in reference to autos for decades.
A billet or laminated flex plate for your truck is available from quite a few vendors here.

theres also some better than stock, but not quite billet ones on ebay for $130 or so, theyre about 3x the thickness of the stock one.

what year is your truck, 3rd gen? the 2nd gen ones seem to hold up better, but i dont know if they can be swapped.
