Did they put SRW 80's in fords 37 spline??????? If so would this work are the dimensions the same what year fords would I have to look in, would it be worth it.

Obviously you would need a new carrier. Depends, if you already have a locker for the rear I would just buy a good set up axles. If you don't then it might be something to look into. I beleive the bolt patter on the axle is incorrect for the axle shaft to bolt up to the drum. It was about 3 years ago I looked into this. I think they had one long enough, but I forget. Best bet would to be just find a ford D80.

No srw 80's in ford they used a sterling rear in them, only dually fords have 80's the 450's and older f superdutys fords had 37 spline 80s and were 10 lugs

I got to get a new carrier anyway do to my new gears but I am just going to weld em up anyway I go so I figured if I had to buy a case I would look into the 37 spline spiders and fords axles they did use SRW 80's in fords what years do I need Old New????????????? I'll go pull some out and do some measuring if so.

You beat me to it house! With the 10 luggers would they have the same hub bolt pattern for the shaft just larger drum for the lug pattern or are you saying they are dually to? Just tryin to save some money.

Friend tried to buy 37 spline spiders for his dodge and didn't have any luck. Be careful how old you go. We have an older 80 from an f450 and it has 35 spline axles in it. It had disks, and we weren't sure what year, we found out it was an 89.

Randys lists em' pretty sure. I'll just have to head to the bone yard and start pulling shafts and mabey hit the jackpot.

THe problem is the axle shafts won't bolt up to the dodge hubs. I 99% sure of that. I found some that are longer, and thought about making an adapter to have them bolt up, but that would be some $$ and still wouldn't have an axle as strong as a good aftermarket axle.

When you get tired of looking, we have the 37 spline axles & welded 37 spline carriers for the Dodge Dana 80 here.:evil
