Found some old videos

You can really here it in this one. When I built this truck and got it running. It had this crazy "tick" to it. So I let it sit through the winter and tore it apart again. Did everything over cause we couldn't find what it was. Put it back together. Same freaking noise. I was fed up with it by then so I said the heck with it and ran it. Never had any issues with but was always curious what it was. Still to this day I don't know. Anyone else have an idea? Valves were not hitting, I do know that.

Not sure what it is but didn't seem to affect it any. That was a strong run. I watched a couple other videos. The one with your traction bar bracket falling off was nice LOL Was that a 2.6 charger from Scheid?

It was an OLD OLD Scheid Lightning before they went to a 3.0 wheel. It was a 2.8 that I had a cover made for. Exhaust housing was a bit big. Had a little trouble staying on top of it most of the time. The DHRA hook and the Belle hook are the only 2 I didn't get under it at.

Haha, ya her commentary is something else. I think she knows now that everything she says can be heard. That truck only ran 4400rpm on the line and about 3400 down the track.

Really...I thought it sounded higher..hmmm ...Well I'm a CR guy..not used to here those tunes!!! LOL:Cheer:

Nope that was my struggle all year. Couldn't get the r's out of it. The Belle, MO pull I carried 3600 down the track and it ran the best it ever had. Only thing that stopped it was the big mud hole I ran into.:hehe:
