Four DTC Codes

[06 DIESEL]

I have a truck here that has four codes present and I can not seem to figure out why they are there or why his Edge is not working. Here are the codes

P-0500 - Vehicle speed sensor malfunction

P-1693 - DTC Detected in companion mode

P-1694 - Fault in Companion Mode

P-1687 - No Cluster bus message

If anyone has any info that could be helpful please let me know. I have checked all of the connections on the Edge and they are fine.

Not exactly "help" but my truck throws the 0500 and 1693 code on a regular basis when the Smarty programming is loaded.

 

[06 DIESEL]

I think we figured it out. His positive battery terminals were not very tight so we tightened them up. The reason his Edge was not working properly is because he had a dead lift pump. Swapped that out and now he is running fine as far as I know.
