i have a coolant by pass, that replaces the freez plug in in the rear of the block, but last night i blew out the plug on th right rear of the engine, i hit 4,800 rpm's for a split second. it was late and had no where to get a new freeze plug so i took the block heater out of my spare engine, and used it.
other than the $50 billet plugs is there any other way to keep from blowing them? i have heard about people nipping/grinding the fins on the water pump.
