i just rebuilt this 12 valve engine and did a v10 to cummins swap. i blew an hx35 so i put another one on it and just yesterday its slow to idle down. what would cause something like this? engine and trans only have about 50 miles on them.
mods are:
a1000 fuel pump with 1/2 inch line
dual fed IP (i know its overkill)
0 plate full forward
rack plug
.035 dvs
5x010 injectors
hx35 over hx55 twins
5 inch exhaust
ported head
60# springs
billet triple disk converter
billet flex plate
billet input shaft
rebuilt trans with modded valve body and shift kit

I can post a vid if it does help out any.
there is no white smoke, no blue smoke
its making me paranoid so if anyone knows somethin about this lemme know. thanks

throttle return? just 1. its very touchy and its been that way but im used to it. but it just started doing this last night. if you put a load on it it dont do it. if it helps any i did find oil in the intercooler so i pulled it and cleaned all my pipes. idling with no intercooler it does the same thing. when i blew the 35 it did put some oil down into the intercooler.

Something in the gov. must be letting it idle up.. If you pull the pump arm back and down on the idle screw does change? Slow down?

Thanks!

When i went from a 3k set of gov springs to a 4k, my truck was doin something similiar. It ended up being, that i had the gov springs to tight.
