Fried turbo bearing

Fried turbo bearing on 64/71/14 super phat shaft towing 12k camper out west. Egts were less than 1250. Boost20-33 lbs. truck has Hamilton cam, 75 hp inj, banks intercooler , 5" exhaust, smarty s06, 6 SPd . Question - will larger compressor wheel help? Turbo spinning slower producing same boost?

did you have crappy oil, no feed, or kept shutting it off while hot to coke up the bearings? what caused the failure

Im curios too what caused the failure so it don't ruin your new turbo.

I just put a stocker s475 kit in and 3 days later the thrust bearing in my stock turbo went up, it sucks..
