Ever since I bought my truck my bumper sags on each side looks like it has a California lean to it. It's really annoying now that I'm starting to work on the looks and I'm just wondering what I could check for first or if I should just pull the whole bumper and see what I have to work with?

Every 2nd Gen Dodge I've ever had had done that. Some worse than others...I usually end up putting a replacement bumper on there, though.

So it's nothing I could simply straighten out with a hammer? Lol..

Could I heat the mounts and reset them? Or just beat em around a little.. Bumpers are kinda expensive I'd rather by a sport bumper.

Hey Adam,

Try this, loosen everything up, including the side braces. ALL the bolts, not just one end. Get someone to hold the end of the bumper up where it needs to be and tighten the side brace up on that side. Repeat on the other end, then get the center where it needs to be if it's not already in the right place and then tighten everything down.

EDIT: Cliff beat me to it..........

Lol alright will do I'll give her a shot.

Oh btw does underwood change ball joints? Haha I don't have time and my next day off I'll be in Louisville for the mid america truck show

What they said, plus at the back edge of the top black trim (inside the wheel opening) is a plastic rivet. Remove it (you'll need new ones from NAPA or... ) and you see that both the gray plastic and black plastic trim pieces have angled teeth. You can fine tune the gap at the fender by moving the black trim ends up and down to catch different teeth in the gray plastic.
