Ok so I'm pullin my bumpers so I can have them rhino lined. Got the back bumper off and stripped no problems.
Front bumper is a different story. I took the 4 nuts that hold the bumper brackets to the frame rail and the problem that I'm running into is that the top bolt on both sides hits my intercooler.
The other nuts are a pain in the a$$ to get to so I'm wondering what the best way to get the front bumper off is? Can I cut the bolts down that hold the bumper to the frame rail. They have quite a bit of access thread so ill probably go that route.
Just wondering what you all have to say.

Unbolt the 2 bolts on the intercooler up at the radiator support. Lift up on the intercooler to pull the bumper bolts out. There's a wire held in by a carrot on the drivers side if I remember right also for fog lights wether you have them or not. The inner fender wells are snapped in behind the bumper not a big deal coming off but kinda a pain going back on.

There are brackets on the end of the frame rail with three nuts on each side. Easy access and probably the fastest way. I think they are 18mm, but not positive.

On mine there are only two bolts and nuts on each side. The bolts are held together by a metal plate and its the plate the is hitting the IC on both sides.

I just cut my bolts off and replaced them with new 1/2" bolts. Or you could take the 3 nuts off of the bracket where its bolted to the bumper on each side like mentioned above.

The ones im talking about run parallel with the truck, not through the frame rails. They are at the end of the frame and run through the bumper and a square bracket that is around the tow hooks. If you open your hood and look down between the headlight and intercooler you can see them.

Pulled the top IC bolts and was able to push the IC up. No problem gettin the bumper off after that. Both bumpers are stripped and ready to go to my local rhino liner
