Ok, so i had a -6AN fitting in my front plug of the p-pump for return. Well it started leaking pretty bad. Thought it was just the o-ring, now it got me thinking it the wrong threat.

Is it a 3/8 JIC or something else? Might as well fix it right, then have it leak again!!!

You mean the M18x1.5 port up front? Directly in the center of the pump body that goes into the fuel passage?

Correct on the thread and summit or jegs will have it.

Why do you want to have that ugly turbo next to the cute girl, I'm lost here......need a retake.

Jim

Didnt know an S480 was ugly..............

and yes the front plug of the p-pump. Now I just need to find an m18x1.5 to -6AN!!!!!!

is this the same port where the overflow valve is? if so, what did you do to regulate the pressure inside?

I'm gonna have to 2nd jim on that one Jeff, u need a pretty shiny one next to a pretty girl

No. Its the one in the front that has a hex cap in it from the factory. An external regulator or something similar would easily regulate pressure.

And x3 on some polishing. She's cute enough to deserve a little bling.

.

what did you do with the return that comes out of the original spot? maybe you can post a pic? Im getting confused here haha

It depends on what you are doing with it. I was thinking of using it as a return and feeding through the stock inlet and where the overflow is. Some people also dual feed through the stock port and the front port and return through the stock location. I don't know how Jeff is using the port.
What would you like pictures of? I'm sure I can find some if you wanted

On Edit: I type too slow.

just as said above the frt plug goes into the fuel passage below the #1 dv - it does not go directly into the body of the pump

pretty sure the only reason that passage is there was incase there was not enough room between the motor adn the pump for the ofv

no way i would put a second feed into the same boss that the return comes out of

the way Im am setting it up right noe is I am feeding in the stock location with a -10an line and then returning out the front port to a Areomotice regulator. the stock return is pluged off.

Ill try and get some pics of how its set up.

front port return port same thing but have you measured the id of the fitting you will be screwing your 5/8 line onto?

jim, do you think there is a way (pump would have to be out of truck and apart for rebuild) that one could reroute the passage from the front plug so that it went into the main pump body instead of out the return?

you guys have a link to the regulator you are using? still using the stock lift pump? What kind of fuel pressure is this giving you, and at what HP would you need to upgrade all the fuel stuff like that?

This is basically the regulator Im using..... Aeromotive Inc. - High-Performance Fuel Systems Fuel Pumps

Im running a FASS right now, but swaping over to a A1000. FASS has been giving me 75psi on a deadheaded guage. Then I regulate it to 45psi.

So where is the best place to feed and return??????
