Has Anyone Ever Run Their Product On A Diesel Pickup? Did U Notice
Any Difference Between It And The Air To Air Intercooler? What
Size Did U Use For The Setup U Have? I Have Been Doin Some
Research The Prices Seem To To Be Fair But If They Dnt Work Well
I Would Rather Not Waste My Money. Any Input Would Be
Appreciated.

I know several guys using them in in there pullers. They work so well that you can turn 20 lbs of ice into hot water in 300ft. >100* intake temps.

i use a small forzen boost and 44lbs of ice with a 10gpm pump is alomost melted after 325'

So Do You Think It Helps That Much? Ive Been Looking At A Few Of The 12x9x5 Intercoolers They R Definetly Priced Rite

Im looking at one of there kits for my 03 CR. But i havnt weight out the two on upgrading to AFE intercooler.

That and a cam are my two winter upgrades I'm planning for next season. I will be buying just the cooler and making my own kit similar to House's though.

i know some guys using them on their profarm tractors and they swear by em.

Been looking at these myself. Worried about the pressure rating though.

there is mine, boost is 60-65 ish egt is 1600-1700 this is on a 600cc 12mm pump with 5x25 edms and .093 lines and a s468

you have to take into account how much is a stock intercooler rated for, I'm sure many have way over exceeded it.

FB says their a/w units are "rated to 70 psi," for what it's worth.

Just something to think about, there have been several spectacular a/w IC explosions in the drag racing world. One blew body panels off the car. 70 pounds-force per square inch times say 100 square inches of tank section....umm...it's going somewhere!

If you plan on putting one of these in the cab of your truck and you know you're near the operating limit, get a safety blanket for it. Stroud makes them (maybe others do too).

Just sayin'. Looking into the crystal ball, without a blanket on these things, eventually someone will get seriously hurt. One flaw in the weld at the wrong place at the wrong time...

And I'm not picking on FB. Some high dollar units have kaplooeyed too.

i ran my setup for the first time sunday and didn't have close to enough ice how many gallon reservoir tanks are you guys using?

a cooler, i put 2 22lbs of ice and 2.5 gallons of water in it

Mine works so well it will turns my IC into a frosty. Its from FB and works great. I used a fourty some qt cooler holds about 40lbs of ice and 2 gal water. I say its good for 50 - 75 hp.

mine was holding 65-70psi without issues. with a 24x12x2 radiator and 2 gallon tank straight water kept temps within 5* of ambient on the street

Wonder if a set up like that would work on a CR.

Sure - we make a kit that uses a 4" I/O air/water CAC with a 4" stainless steel crossover directly into the head... gotta lose the passenger side battery, though. :Cheer:
