fuel and cp3 line

Ok is it normal for the fuel rail and fuel lines to be hot even the ones that connect from my raptor to the dual cp3. It also seems like the lines are turning like a burnt charcoal grey. Last thing truck runs like its in limp mode clean the map sensor no change help plz.
 
When my lines got hot it was due to my rail pressure being too high. Do you have a gauge on it? The truck will not throw a code for it, but it will run like crap, like it is in limp mode.
 
no I need to invest in one though. if it had high rail wouldn't you be able to hear it, because last time it had high rail It had nasty fuel knock. this time it sounds like it wants to die when you ease off throttle. I also have like a white vapor coming from the oil fill cap.
 
Check you oil and make sure your not filling the crankcase with diesel. It sounds like you may have a cracked injector.
 
x2 sounds like an injector.

get a RP gauge on that thing or at least a scan tool
 
the 2 codes I had were under boost and I think p0251 which I think is injection pump metering control a.
