fuel bowl removal

I saw on here someone talking about deleting the fuel bowl on their 6.0. What exactly is being removed and whats the benifits?

don't do it unless you have a FASS or equivalent.

correct, the secondary fuel bowl under hood, I have mine done but I have a FASS

no, I didnt it other then its a bit cleaner under the hood.

I removed it for the same reason. Unless your running a fass dont do it. You need both filters since the ford ones are 1/2 filtration

No its not. Really there is no benefit removing it unless you are pushing some serious hp.

You ever see a stock banjo fitting? Those things are seriously restricted.

they suck..here's a couple pics of a stock banjo bolt and one from an ITP RR..the stock has 2 small holes..the ITP bolts have 3 big holes through the bolt..

I have the kit he is talking about on order. Ive seen it in person and it makes things look so much cleaner, and not to mention the filters are MUCH easier to get at and not make a mess! Check it out for sure.

Stock banjo bolts will still yield a 691/1398 on the dyno.

Apparently not. All the graphs i have seen 800 something with torque still in the 1200 range.
