Does diesel evaporate like gas does? I've heard of people loosing a gallon or more of gas out of a cell vent.

i was just going to run some coils of aluminium line for the vent, is that enough?

not exactly-

i would run a vent long enough not to slosh out during driving, and ensure that it doesnt create a "trap" if it isnt perfectly vertical.

not really, but you are not going to lose any fuel without it sloshing out. make sure there's a check valve on it and a breather filter on the end

I just bought a jegs metal filter to go over mine. The only time I got any to slosh out is when doing doughnuts or getting sideways violantly.

I ran a 3ft piece of 3/8 hose with a filter on the end and it works great.
