fuel filling issue

Does everyones 6.4 take forever for the last 10 bucks worth of fuel? I have to stand there and baby it till it is full.

Is there a fix for this?

I have an 05 and mine is the same way.

Yep, they all have that problem. The problem is the vent inside the fuel tank. It gets covered up when the fuel reaches the top part of the tank. No vent = very slow top off.

I fill mine until there is a visible fuel level in the filler neck. It takes forever, but I get good consistant mileage data.

Search harpoon mod. I can't remember if it is on this site or I googgled it. Been thinking of doing it for a while. It shortens the vent tube.
