Has anyone had a problem with the drain on there factory fuel fiter. I did mine last night. I made one huge mess be for i got it to close. I never had this problem before on it. Is this a sign of it needing to be replaced. It's on a 2000.

Never had a problem with mine Gavin. I have 2 sitting around if you would like them.

I think there is a ball valve in it that hangs up. Mine use to do the same thing.

My the heck don't you have an AirDog? LOL

Mike, there is an actual fuel filter to fin spin on apps, not oil filters at all. Some of them actually have a water drain button built in...

Should swap in, if not find one with the right pitch and thread , take that black piece off the bottom and be done with it, should be good for whatever pressure you are running too

I have just the small fass pump. It's a 150 gph.The one with no filters.. I have it plumbed it the fuel filter. I have no leaks yet! but next time i'm thinkin i will get rid of this dumb thing and get a filter base from Haisley and a FS 1001 filter.

I had a filter base and filter from tsc plumbed into my fuel line when I had my old fass pump.
