Well i bought my truck about a month and a half ago, and the fuel guage didn't/doesn't work. The guy sent the part to fix it (i think it's a fuel level sending unit or something like that). I never thought about it that much, til i ran out of fuel the other day :kick:. These things suck to get going again once you run out of fuel, so now i want to get the guage working.

So here's my question (s).

1. How do you put these in.
2. Are they easy or hard to do.

Any help's greatly appriciated.

Thanks

Not to hard, my bro did the same thing on his, just drop the tank and replace the sender, the float dealy just wears out.

How do i get to it? I was told by someone that you have to move the bed back until you can get to the front of the tank.

drop the tank but make sure you have a prety empty tank also you can use a floor jack or an atv jack to help out

Removing the bed is easier if you are big guy. I just removed mine a couple of weeks ago to fix the fuel canister. I was going to drop the tank but got some help to remove the bed so it was much easier access to everything that way.

yep. it's gonna be best for me to remove the bed as i'm 15 almost 16 yrs old, 6'2", and weigh 250.
