Is there anywheres I can plumb this line other than back to the tank? I am putting a fuel cell on and didnt want to run extra lines.. I have removed the factory fuel filter and was trying to clean this up some... any ideas would be awesome!

Thanks

Kevin

You have to have a return line back to the tank, even in your fuel cell. Run a fitting to the top of the fuel cell for this return line.

ahh, ok,, I was hoping there was another way, but I guess not.. I am ok to block off the return from the 1 cp3 though right? the other one has a dual feed line on it

Kevin

I think we have both of ours put together with a tee. If I was you I would get ahold of PPE or II and ask them about blocking off the return on the one CP3.

Am I wrong in thinking that this isnt as high pressure, and that I could use a smaller line to do this?

I thought to some extent the fuel flowing through the cp3 provides some cooling of the pump. Seems like if you dead end the fuel in the pump, it's gonna get hotter. I used a fuel log to tie both cp3's, the regulator return line, and the line from the rear of the head back into a single return to the tank.

You can run off the front to the head as well. Block the rear plug and tap the front for a ¼ inch pipe , and - 4 AN fitting . Use a tee at the pump . And then to the tank

Hey Kevin you need to run both CP3 return to tank and the return line on the back of the head. Are you still running a relief valve on the rail? If yes then that one must be teed into the return line also. I would run a 3/8 return line will all of them tee'd together the one line back to tank.

Also make sure that if you keep the stock fitting in the head make sure it doesnt have a check valve in it. I have blown the tops off 3 injs from lifting on a high rev.

I will watch for that fitting. No Malcolm, no relief valve, I run a dual fuel line from II instead. I might look into that Greg, that might be easier to clean up the engine bay doing it that way.

Thanks guy, I really appreciate the info!

Need some info on this front fuel return line.

A pic would be sweet.

Or is that a CR only item?
