Ok im pretty sure im trading a guy my set of DDP150s for his set of DDP250s im just wondering if my mileage is gonna do way down or not? I drive with a light foot 95% of the time. I dont think im getting the greatest mileage to begin with but this winter i plan on putting an s475 under my current turbo. What does everything one think? I think my thermostat may be bad as well because my water temp never gets to 190 prolly around 175-180* anyone think that could cause bad fuel mileage? Also i will be using my current turbo as a top turbo. What do you guys recommend for a twins set up? s475?

LOL..... i love it when people are concerned about mileage when it comes to a 250 hp injector.

umm curious as why its funny? Its my daily driver and will be getting twins this winter and i still want to get good fuel mileage

Its gonna be smokey when those turbo's are not spooled up. Plan to haze at idle and smoke out everyone off a stop light.... good luck with higher elevations.

I actually got about 18 mpg on a trip with ddp 200's on with a 64mm over a s480...They do smoke though, I could imagine the smoke on a 250...

I run 250s on my DD and its not a problem. With the right tuning and throttle control. If I drive on lvl 10 and flat foot it yeah, it smokes, but with lvl 5 or lower and a smooth pedal its not bad at all. I also get 17-19mpgs combined driving. I run a BB66/12 over a 480 w/ADR tuner full 5" exhaust and other flow mods. I just blew my intercooler and that doesnt help lag one bit, but its STILL driveable. I even tow 9K# trailers!$.02

well i got the 250s in yesterday and only got about 50 miles on them and so far they are more streetable than i thought they would be, with the juice on level 3 with no water egts top at about 1250-1300* havent turned the juice up to level 6 because i know the egts will be way to high. But they do haze just a little at idle but driving it i can drive it very easily with no smoke just cant stab your foot in it, just ease into and its fine. Im hoping for atleast 17+ mpg's
