Fuel Pick up????

Has anyone but an intake pickup in the fuel take assymbly???? I am talking about right back in the stock location. I am in the process and was wondering how its done. I noticed the factory part is in two pieces. The bottom sits right on the bottom of the tank and slides up and down on the top part of the assymbly. Anyone know what i am talking about???????

I will try to locate my picture, I have the vulcan draw straw.
 
Well i guess i need to just go ahead and buy a vulcan draw straw. I think the one i have is the FASS straw and its just a one line with metal pipe in the tank.
 
I think we used the vulcan draw straw on rowj's truck. I'll ask him tomorrow.
