Fuel Pressure Gage Problem

So i just installed a glow shift fuel pressure gage, with snubber vavle on my 12v, i start it up and at idle its jumpy but is stays pretty much around 25, now from wat ive read and been told it should be some where 20 or so, now with any throttle it pretty much pegs out my 30psi gage like that, from what i think i kno i thought it should be there at WOT or under a load is this right or what is going on:confused013:

any thoughts or answers will be greatly appreciated

Need more than a 30 psi guage i would say. Check it under load also.

also is it an electric or a mechanical gauge...

I've heard of a few people with issues runnin the glowshift gauges....some people love em' though.
