fuel pressure gauge

hello i just finished installing an electronic fuel prussure gauge and i installed the fuel pressure sender on the fuel bowl cap and it shows a ten pound difference from the mechanical fuel pressure gauge that i have on the fuel regulator . the question is which one should i go with.

Is there a hole in the top of the filter so fuel can get to the gauge?

Can the fuel get to the gauge? Is there anything impeding the flow?

the fuel sender is the one on the fuel cap and no there is nothing inpending the flow
