ive read alot lately on pumps and regulators. ive got a raptor 150 on my truck and i can drop it to 4-5psi in a heart beat... if i really stand on it passing a car it drops to 3-4psi.. this is a severly mild truck. everythings stock exsept a bully dog torque dog thats 65hp but i run it on the 35hp setting. whats the deal? i shouldnt be able to drain that lift pump.... should i?

I wouldn't think so. I assume you have checked filters? The best thing to do, is go to a regulated return style setup. Plumbing is everything to a lift pump setup in my opinion.

I would think a sump is a sump. However beans has a pretty sweet setup now days. Comes with the hole saw and everything.

what do u all mean by a regulated return? wouldnt u want fuel to retun to the tank ASAP? why regulate it?

i didnt know Air dog had a brand of sump?

We don't but you shouldn't be pulling that Raptor down more the 2-3 psi and it should catch up right after the drop. I personally have Bean's latest single bolt design sump and it is a nice piece. Quality kit they put together too. It comes with everything you need.
