I searched the threads and found a couple of them of what people are using for FP regulators on the return side. I just got a new Fuelab 42402 and want trash the OFV and use a regulator, which regulator are you guys running? Gonna be a on a DD, track truck

I got one in my mech. fuel pump kit from glacier diesel, not sure if they sell them seperately. Easy to tune the psi to your liking.

i got the 20 psi 200 gph pump from fuel lab (vp44) and i got a regulator from them as well. i use a helman sump but for the ruturn i got a vulcan draw straw 1 kit and used it for my factory return and my regulated return -6 from reg all the way back to the tank. made the install cleaner that cutting the filler neck. im pretty pleased with it

That what im in the process of doing sump as the intake and draw straw as the return. -8an line for return -10an for inlet. Just tryingto decided which regulator to run

the regulator i got from fuel lab uses - 6 in and out i teed off from the supply to vp and put the regulator there so there is no restriction to pump. -8 seems large for the return. I went with 5/8 line from sump to filter housing on frame. 5/8 from filter to pump 1/2 from outlet of pump to vp. i used a 1/2 inch tee fitting and stepped the regulator feed to -6 or 3/8 and its return to the tank. im running a monster pump and his injectors and my fuel pressure gauge just sits at 17 psi never moves even at wot.

That pump can move some fuel. Im very happy with the setup. Only thing i might do is back the pressure down to like 14 psi cause the adjust screw on regulator is almost all the way down cause of the 20 psi max pump i ordered. that much volume of fuel at 14 psi is plenty to keep the pump happy.

i would jus go with fuel lab regulator you can get the low profile one with less ports to plug since you only need one in and one out. cleaner look
