So, about a month ago I got my f1 mach 6 injectors back from don and they all checked out good. The problem I am having after adding the mach 6's is that when I get into the throttle heavy the truck cuts out. I have been trying to not get on it too much due to the fact that I have HD springs, HD pushrods, SO injection pump, and a bigger clutch to buy and install before I test the full potential. Anyways this cutting out has been so bad now on two differnt occations that the truck has completely shut down. When this happens I have to crack at least 1 injector line and this last time two injector lines to get it to fire back up.

Can anyone say for sure what is going on or had this problem? Am I totally empting the injection pump or what? My two differnt fuel presure guages never go below 13psi that Ive seen and the edge has never alerted me that its gone below 10psi if I dont catch it. So where is my fuel going or what is happening? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks
Z

So you get on it hard then it dies when you get out of it? Mine was doing this and I would have to get out and crack a line and it would start. Try to feather the throttle when you get out of it and see if that helps, it did on mine. After awhile it just quit doing it.

Draining the rotor. My brother done that on the dyno with mach5's. He tapped the throttle after letting off it since and hasn't had a problem.

ya thats what i figured was happening. Just too much fuel I will have to do the feather deal. No real way to stop this though huh?? I will just have to slowly come out of it I guess. Besides the clutch wont hold on anything past 40psi and it just spins rpm. So much for that new clutch never thought Id be playing with this kind of power but how can u stop after feeling it!!!

one more question what kind of damage is this doint to the injection pump? Im sure it cant be too good for it.
