Ok, so i had one of the weirdest breakdowns ever last night. Driving home, saw a good amount of smoke and smelled diesel.

Got the truck pulled over, poped the hood and there was a HUGE stream of Diesel Shooting out of the head! Shut the FASS off and got a good look at where it was comming from.

Im guessing this is the built in front fuel return port.....thing is, what goes back in it?? It a smooth hole as far as i could see inside the hole, but when I trid to find a bolt to fit in there, some kind of plastic bits came out. Not sure if it was gasket maker, JB weld or what......

here is a reference picture.

It right above the front freeze plug below the upper right bolt hole that goes to some sort of bracket.

What the heck goes in there???? Im thinking just to tap it out with a pipethread plug and put a brass plug in it for now. Good idea????

It's like a freeze plug a tiny one. Or what I have done before when to motor or head is in the truck is to pipe tap it and put a steel plug back in.

Reason why it is like that is the manufacturer gun drills the return from the front to the back of the head.
