truck is a 98 12v 4x4. I had a leak in the fuel system so i replace all the line and pulled the bed off since its easier then dropping the tank. After replace everything get all the air out and she fires right up like it always did. go out the next morning and back to no start. After pumping the lift pump again u can hear the overflow valve working like its supposed to but my dad was back at the tank and heard it sucking air right at the return and supply. the rubber piece thats underneith it is rotted. does anyone know if u can get those rubber pieces or is it a dealer part or ? I have a aftermarket draw straw i was gonna put in. And i have heard of guys just silconing it. Just asking to see if anyone has an idea. Thanks for any help!

Still cant find new rubber gromets. But did fix the problem the gromet that was on the return, supply on the fuel sending unit had somehow popped up so it was sucking air threw there causing the truck not to start. The gromet was still really good "surprisingly". After all new marine diesel rubber lines, after market draw straw she fired right up and has been running like a cummins should! And by the way whoever says its to much work to take the bed off ur insane! Its a 20-30 min job! Think it took longer to put the boom on the back of the tractor then it did to pull the bed off!
