I just got done P-pumping my 92 Dodge. I bought a used DPE built 175HP pump with rack plug, benched and maxed, full cuts, pin timed at 19 degrees. It was never ran on a truck. It was said to have flowed 470cc. The injectors are Scheid 5x18. I have not checked out the pump or injectors yet. I have an Air Dog 200 for the lift pump now and II SPS(66/71/14) Turbo.
The truck barley did feel better on the street than my maxed out VE pump. On the street it only had 32psi of boost and the Ve would make 40+ psi. On a dry track it went up one gear but a 66mm turbo should not clear up that amount of fuel I believe
It has made 2 test hooks at the track we own on an unprepped track: http://youtu.be/Id-bWqA6M68
Competition Hook: http://youtu.be/nN9GQ5kw3mw
I am going to trouble shoot my fuel problem this week before the next pull on Saturday and was wondering a place to start. I did remove the fuel plate before these pulls but that is the only change i have done.
I might change out the DVs, i have some new scheid Full cuts which looked a little more cut than whats in it.
Turn more fuel pressure to it maybe 60psi???
Any help would be appreciated.
