Has anyone ever had an issue with the input shaft in a g56. This truck makes 670hp and ran great until 5th started to grind. So I pulled the tranny and the owner had it rebuilt and we put a new southbend dual disk in. Things lasted awsome for 80 miles and the owner got on it and this is what happemed. I'm wandering if somthing could have been done wrong on the rebuild.

YOU PLAY YOU PAY! Wow looks like a 4 low launch! Surprised the case didn't split! That is abuse nothing done wrong the clutch held all the power and the tranny said YOU MUST BE JOKING! Drop it replace it put it on the carnage shelf! NEXT!

I did that to my NV5600, snapped the input clean off.

Trying a 6th gear rolling burnout wasn't the best decision I've ever made...

You should see some of the core manual transmissions I've gotten. :hehe:
A twisted input is a relatively minor happening, it's when internals cause it, that makes things interesting.

Mark.

I tried a rolling boosted launch in 4th with my 4500, pulled real hard for a spilt second and BANG. I bet it was twisted a 1/4 turn before it broke, I still have it somewhere.
