I'm a bit curious too. I know you're essentially upping your compression ratio since less pressure will be leaking around the rings, but I'm not sure it's worth the added cost, and I'm not sure how they hold up long-term to standard DD stuff (high miles, on/off without full warm up, turned off while pretty warm, etc...).
For DDing, I like a high CR, and a low stall.
I have a couple thousand miles on a set in my motor maybe 2,000. I am running 286110's with a chrome top ring and z-gap second and they seem to be doing good so far.
