Hey Guy's looking at a Garrett that looks to spec out decently for a primary? Anyone know anything about this turbo??
 
Looks like a charger off of a 12V71T, 12V149T, and 8V71 with a 83mm inducer.
It seems to be able to take some abuse.
 
???? do you have access to it or is it online somehwere? What exhaust housing is on it?

I am running a 85mm Garrett from a 8v92 as my big charger and it works pretty good. Its a little laggy with a 1.39ar housing.
 
Ya I guy I know has one that is brand new but I'm not sure if it's worth what he wants for it? He's looking for 350.00 shipped??
 
As long as the exhaust housing is small enough, it sounds like a good budget charger.
 
oldddddd. thread, bringin it back to the top. Found a turbo like this that someone was using as a single on their 24 valve Ram :doh:. Found a link to this site and on powerstroke nation that sent me here http://www.turbomaster.info/eng/garrett_parts_list/407370-0010.php.. The turbo says .96 a/r on the front. Good or no good for a primary over a 62? I know he can't use it, but I might be able to. And for the price, kinda hard to not give it thought.
