gasser 5spd,will it work?

hey guys quick question,my auto trans in my 98 12v is done,i know where there is a 2500 with a 360 gasser with a five speed,it is 4x as well same as mine will it bolt up and workon mine? i can get the trans and tcase as a unit for 450 bucks,along with all the other goodies i need c peddle etc.

The gas truck should have an nv4500 in it, the bellhousing adapter will be different , along with the clutch and input shaft. You can change those parts...but you can not just take the trans out of the gasser and bolt it to a cummins without some mods.

are you talking about a 5 speed manual? for some reason i got 5 speed and the auto mixed up because your truck is an auto now.
