Here is a short video showing my truck after the gasser tach swap. Picked it up yesterday for $75. I found a couple more for $50 but they were a couple counties over so I just went and got this one. Everything plugs back up and works great. Also at the end of the video it shows my electric fans that I picked up the other day. I got them out of two Ford Taurus' for $20 each. They work great so far.

45min? Heck Mine took about 10, but I didnt have to hook up the shifter indicator.

Question is, does a 94-98 and 98.5-02 have all the same hook ups? My 98 gasser dash doesnt have the huge UNLEADED FUEL ONLY right in the middle!

It took me a little long because I had to unbolt my hand controls to be able to get part of the dash off. The gear shift indicator gave us fits for a little bit too.

Not sure if they are the same or not, but I would guess no.

But ill tell ya. Doing this has been one of my best add ons yet!!! Bout the hardest part of it is getting used to have a tach with 2K more RPM!

Also I got mine for 50 bucks and its a lot better than having a gaudy 1980's 5" moster tach on the dash!!!

so how yu be hookin up a gasser tach to the diesel sender - tis two different types of sendin unit

I didnt notice any accent at all. Shoot, mine is alot worse than yours and even farther north than you are! I think I picked most of mine up in Arkansas!

I installed one in my truck and it works great!!!

Being my truck is no longer runable I might sell mine....

guess i know what im doing tomorrow, just need to find a cluster with less or the same miles
